How We Are Paid

At Energy Made Simple, we value transparency in our pricing model. Our goal is to ensure that our clients understand how our services are compensated. Typically, our payment is structured in one of the following three ways:

Commission Built into Unit Rates

In this model, our commission is included in the energy unit rate. This means that for each kilowatt-hour (kWh) of energy consumed by your business over the term of the contract, a portion of the rate paid goes towards our service. This approach allows our clients to spread out the cost of our services over the duration of their contract, aligning with their energy consumption.

Commission Built into the Standing Charge

Here, our commission is added to the standing charge—a daily fixed fee charged by the energy supplier. This standing charge already covers certain supplier costs, and by including our fee in this charge, it becomes a predictable daily cost throughout the contract term. This is a straightforward and easy-to-track option for clients who prefer a fixed fee model.

Fixed Fee Payment

This method involves a one-time, predetermined fee for our services. The fixed fee is agreed upon upfront and is specified in the Commission Acknowledgement document. This approach provides complete cost transparency, as there are no additional fees beyond the initial amount agreed upon for the services rendered.

Commission Acknowledgement for Good Energy for Meter Number: 95687236

In respect of Your Chosen Energy Supplier who is Good Energy.

You acknowledge and agree that:

  1. Energy Made Simple will receive commission from Good Energy in consideration for introducing Your energy supply contract(s);
  2. Details of the applicable uplift(s), including how they are calculated, are set out below and are agreed by You.


We have calculated the commission amount on the basis of the Chosen Energy Contract term having an expected contract start date of 1 December 2024, an expected contract end date of 30 November 2025 based on an estimated annual consumption of 50000kwh. If Your Energy Contract is an Export contract You acknowledge and agree that:

  1. Energy Made Simple will receive commission from Good Energy in consideration for introducing Your energy supply contract(s);
  2. Such commission shall be charged at a rate of 0.500 pence per kWh of Exported Electricity for the duration of Your Chosen Energy Contract


Our commission will be £250.00, which is based on Your estimated usage of 50000KWH.

 Commission Acknowledgement for Everflow for Meter Number: 148796583

 In respect of Your Chosen Energy Supplier who is Everflow. You acknowledge and agree that:

Energy Made Simple will charge a fixed management fee of £300.00 which will be charged for the duration of

Your Chosen Energy Supply Contract. Expected contract start date of 28 November 2024, an expected contract

end date of 27 November 2027

You accept that You are bound by the Energy Made Simple Terms and Conditions in connection with the supply of broker services. You accept the Energy Contract provided by Energy Made Simple as attached to this Acknowledgement. In relation to Meter Number: 148796583.

Commission Acknowledgement for IMServ for Meter Number: 2287693145871

In respect of Your Chosen Energy Supplier who is IMServ. You acknowledge and agree that:

  1. Energy Made Simple will receive commission from IMServ in consideration for introducing Your energy supply contract(s);
  2. Details of the applicable uplift(s), including how they are calculated, are set out below and are agreed by You.


If Your Energy Contract is a Meter Operator (MOP) contract You acknowledge and agree that Energy Made Simple will charge a fixed management fee of £500.00 which will be charged for the duration of Your Chosen Energy Supply Contract.

Expected contract start date of 30 November 2024, an expected contract end date of 29 November 2029

Commission Acknowledgement for Scottish & Southern Electricity for Meter Number: 2287693145871

In respect of Your Chosen Energy Supplier who is Scottish & Southern Electricity.

You acknowledge and agree that:

  1. Energy Made Simple will receive commission from Scottish & Southern Electricity in consideration for introducing Your energy supply contract(s);
  2. Such commission shall be incorporated into the energy supply unit rates You agree with Scottish & Southern Electricity as a 0.800 p per kWh price uplift for the duration of the energy supply contract;
  3. The applicable uplift for Your energy supply contract(s) is 0.800 pence per kWh for the duration of the energy supply contract; and
  4. Details of the applicable uplift(s), including how they are calculated, are set out below and are agreed by You.

 

We have secured the Chosen Energy Contract Rate for Electric, and We apply a 0.800 p/kWh uplift.

Our commission is calculated as 0.800 p/kWh multiplied by Your estimated annual energy consumption, and multiplied by the Chosen Energy Contract Term.

Our commission will be £240.00, which is based on Your estimated usage of 30000KWH.

We have calculated the commission amount on the basis of the Chosen Energy Contract term having an expected contract start date of 1 January 2026, an expected contract end date of 31 December 2026 based on an estimated annual consumption of 30000KWH.

You accept that You are bound by the Energy Made Simple Terms and Conditions in connection with the supply of broker services. You accept the Energy Contract provided by Energy Made Simple as attached to this Acknowledgement. In relation to Meter Number: 2287693145871.

Commission Acknowledgement for Crown Gas & Power for Meter Number: 79653189

In respect of Your Chosen Energy Supplier who is Crown Gas & Power.

You acknowledge and agree that:

  1. Energy Made Simple will receive commission from Crown Gas & Power in consideration for introducing Your energy supply contract(s);
  2. Such commission shall be incorporated into the energy supply unit rates You agree with Crown Gas & Power as a fixed price 410.959 pence per day uplift to the standing charge, for the duration of the energy supply contract;
  3. The applicable uplift for Your energy supply contract(s) is 410.959 pence per day for the duration of the energy supply contract; and
  4. Details of the applicable uplift(s), including how they are calculated, are set out below and are agreed by You.


We have secured the Chosen Energy Contract Rate for Gas.

We also apply a daily standing charge commission of 410.959 p/day for every day of the contract. Our commission will be £3000.00, which is based on Your estimated usage of 100000KWH.

We have calculated the commission amount on the basis of the Chosen Energy Contract term having an expected contract start date of 16 December 2024, an expected contract end date of 15 December 2026 based on an estimated annual consumption of 100000KWH.

You accept that You are bound by the Energy Made Simple Terms and Conditions in connection with the supply of broker services. You accept the Energy Contract provided by Energy Made Simple as attached to this Acknowledgement. In relation to Meter Number: 79653189.
